Modern stylish design, 16mm Capacity.
Although the basic design of pillar drills has remained unchanged for many years, there are some well thought out modern design features on these two models, which set them apart from the norm.
The large diameter operating handle is made from a strong yet lightweight aluminium casting allowing for a finer degree of control over the cutting tool. The setting of cutting depth has been upgraded with a highly visible display and a fine pitched dial to make the adjustment. Accurate targeting of the workpiece is achieved using a mains powered (no batteries!) laser cross generator. A keyless chuck gives convenient tool free bit changing.
The table is precision ground cast iron with side extensions for more stability, tilts to 45 degrees each way, and has slots for attaching a vice. Hidden in the base is a pull out draw for storing tools and drill bits.
The larger model, W380, has an extra 7 speed options, a more powerful motor and a rack and pinion to adjust the table height. To get the maximum height capacity the top surface of the base is also machined and slotted for attaching a vice.
Supplied with hinged chuck guard, chuck removing tool, cable and plug.
